Chiddy Bang freestyle
Deska may have found it first, but it is too much fire to keep off my blog. Besides, I was already in the process of watching it when she told me about it…

The NY Times front page story on Friday, May 14, was a little more startling than usual. While reading about a general who got shot in the head during an interview w/ a Times reporter, we checked out the map and realized it was just a few blocks from my fave hostel in Thailand, which I always…
It amazes me that I bought this newspaper, found the article, made the connection on the map to...

From Hartford, CT
An under the influence Cudi was coaxed up on stage by Wale, and UCB improvised a sweet interpretation of the beat. I saw Cudi open for Wale once before, and this was leaps and bounds better than that performance. The freshmen are shaping up something like the quarterbacks of 1983…
When Wale performed at LPR, GOOD Music’s Big Sean opened, followed by Roc Nation’s J Cole. Up next was Colin Munroe, who unfortunately was sick, so he didn’t drum while he sang.
More videos from Wale’s show at LPR on 5/8/09 to follow.

Mike Posner, Big Sean & 9th Wonder Recording ‘Wonder Why’
This song is the perfect usage of Mike Posner. What a great collaboration.
Saigon: Change Gon Come
Directed by Rik Cordero, off of his Inside a Change mixtape film.
Elliot Williams transferring from Duke for family... →
This is not good news. Elliot was a huge spark towards the end of the season and had a chance to become a key part of the rotation. Now, especially since John Wall went elsewhere, the Devils are very thin in the backcourt. Most importantly, however, I wish Elliot and his family all the best.
Eric Holljes - "Good In My Hood" music video... →
This ridiculous video by Lawrence Chen, of Duke University Improv, was featured on Elitaste! You may know Eric Holljes, another Dukie, from Mike Posner’s mixtape.
Free Mixtape: Wale - Back to the Feature →
And obviously…if for some reason you haven’t already downloaded it. Of the songs that weren’t already released as singles, I especially like “Wonder Why” with Mike Posner singing the hook. Wale kills it, and its one of Big Sean’s finest verses.

Spencer Pratt: I’m a Celebrity
I feel kinda bad about putting money in Spencer’s pocket just by watching this, but if he wants to profit off of being the laughingstock of the universe, I think I’m actually ok with it…

B.o.B. vs. Bobby Ray: The Mixtape
Out next week. The man is like a singer, rapper, and comedian all rolled into one. I can’t wait.
Rodney Harrison is not remotely close to resembling a Hall of Famer
Apparently, ESPN thinks the Hall of Fame enjoys shamelessly wasting away its credibility, too!
Ash Roth + Cudi + b.o.b = This Summer
These three guys are probably #2, #3, and #4 in terms of up-and-comer rappers for me (behind Wale, duh). Should make for an awesome tour. Bring on the next generation!
A full list of tour dates is as follows:
07/14 - Boston, MA @ House of Blues + 07/15 - New York, NY @Nokia Theater + 07/16 - Mariaville, NY @ Indian Lookout + 07/17 - Cleveland, OH @ House of Blues + 07/18 - Detroit, MI @ Royal...
Regina Spektor: Laughing With
Gotta love Regina. She’ll be at the Beacon Theater on June 17 (and so will I).
